Cindy Austad - Information

Cindy Austad, IT Administrator.  Cindy has resided in Florida for the past 17 years and has lived in South Lake County since 1998.  She and her husband manage several properties across the state and know what families with children, livestock and extra curricular activities are looking for.  Cindy owns and operates the Austad Cattle Ranch along with her husband Steve and their two sons.  

Cindy has been very successful in the business world, working in the IT department for the same corporation for 11 years.  She knows what it is like to be a Mom on the go!  She and her husband are very active in the local South Lake Youth Dixie Baseball League where they sit on the Board of Directors, along with the South Lake Pop Warner football & flag programs.  Both children are avid ATV racers, participating in the local race circuits at Dade City Raceway, FTR, SQSSA and GNCC.  Cindy and her husband sponsor several local riders at the Dade City Raceway, and their team of racers have placed consistently in the top 3 for the last three years. 

Cindy and her family are members of the Bay Lake Missionary Baptist Church and the Bay Lake 4-H Club. Cindy was one of the founding members and served in the past as President of the Lake County CattleWomen’s Association, where she also served as Secretary for the two years prior to her Presidency. Cindy assisted in organizing registration for "The Great Florida Cattle Drive 2006" and designed and maintained the website. She and her family are also members of the Lake County and Florida Cattlemen’s Association, along with the Florida Trail Riders Association.  Cindy is a member of the Business and Professional Women's Association of South Lake County. Cindy is highly involved in her church organizing the nursery and one of the Jr. Church teachers, she is also a member of the Cypress Ridge Elementary PTO and on the SAC board.
